The Resource Centre couldn’t do any of the wonderful things it does without our dedicated volunteers who are committed to providing friendly – and in many cases, expert – support. Our volunteers are so good that in 2018 we were honoured to receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for charities.
We are delighted to welcome volunteers in any capacity, from support workers for our growing range of activities, to working in the charity shops, to driving our minibuses – and many more roles.
If you have a talent or interest you think we could use, or simply a chatty, friendly nature and you can offer a couple of hours a week, we’d love to hear from you.

All applicants have a friendly interview, must provide satisfactory references and undergo a DBS check.
