On Monday our Creative Group went out for a fancy afternoon tea at the beautiful St Mary's Guildhall. Everyone had a fun and festive afternoon.

I am well overdue in thanking and congratulating Julia, who is visually impaired, for raising £82 in November by selling her beautifully crocheted poppies. The funds were divided between CRCB and the Poppy Appeal. Thank you Julia - the poppies were lovely!

The 2024 Winter Warmer was a lovely occasion, despite the terrible weather! Thank you to everyone who came out on a wet and windy day and to all our amazing volunteers and our dedicated staff team, who pulled out all the stops to make sure it happened. Hello from Poland! 🇵🇱 Tomorrow I (Claire) will compete in my first ever international Showdown tournament, representing Great Britain (and of course CRCB) 🇬🇧 CRCB got a Showdown table six months ago and we’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of people that have taken an interest in the sport. As a result we have a league team and a social team at the centre. Many friends and supporters of CRCB will remember Mike Lane who, along with his lovely wife Jill, have helped out here at the charity in so many ways over many years. Mike died recently after a long illness and will be much missed by us all. We send our love and condolences to Jill and all of Mike's family. Based in Earlsdon, the charity offers a range of activities including the opportunity to learn new skills, take part in hobbies and other interests, to get a bit of exercise or simply just to gather for a cuppa and a chat.
